Navdeep Saini

Navdeep Saini is a fine-art, fashion, portrait, and wedding photographer. Her journey towards the creative industry began when she was very young; she always knew she'd make a career in the arts. Photography, out of all mediums stood out to her since it was the perfect blend of reality and art. In time, she went to Ontario College of Art and Design University and graduated with a B.A. in Photography. Being heavily inspired by nature and the notion of "there's magic in everything", her personal work tends to show elements of imagination and fantasy. Even in her wedding work, although her main goal is to capture the couple's and their beloved guests' purest moments, she still keeps those inspirations present. In 2010, she got her foot in this industry as an assistant and editor. Swiftly, she became a freelancer for several years, plus a lead at PhotoKitch for six. Now, and for the past 7 years at Shot by Kismet, she plays many, many roles which include: mini day-of event planner, iPhone content creator, hair & makeup check, safety pin carrier, and of course, most importantly — been a lead photographer, lead editor, as well as the creative director on deck - bringing on board her artistic vision, high quality execution, and a can do attitude!

Loves to sing, knows the episodes in 'Friends' by heart, has to wait 30 minutes before drinking fresh chai cause it's way too hot!

Harman Brar

Harman Brar is not only a dedicated portrait, landscape, and wedding photographer, but a passionate film maker as well. Over the years, some his personal projects have consisted of making music videos for the South Asian industry. His ability to keep up with the contemporary trends in videography (particularly reels & TikToks) has also benefited his ability to bond with his clients’ and create a more memorable experience for all parties. He is the type of person that's determined to execute the vision he's built in his mind, through his work and life. He is an avid hiker and nature enthusiast. He first picked up his camera to document his travels and automatically his love for photography blossomed. He shot his first wedding in 2015 - now, and for the past 7 years, he has been a lead photographer and editor at Shot by Kismet! He always carries a positive spirit and is great at making your experience stress free! In other terms, man’s got jokes and will definitely make you laugh all day long, no matter how tired or exhausted you or he, himself is!

JD Saini

JD is a dynamic photographer who seamlessly blends creativity with hard work. Some might say he’s reserved, but in reality his focus and keen eye silently captures moments that speak volumes. He started with filmmaking, which influenced his passion for content creation, expanding to photography as well. Both mediums help him bring people’s stories and moments to life. Beyond his artistry, JD's academic endeavors in Life-Science showcase his commitment to exercising both the analytical and creative sides of his mind. His calm demeanor and his passion make him not only a talented photographer and filmmaker, but also someone you'd love to grab a drink with and chat about life! In just three years, he has quickly mastered his craft. Now, and for the past year at Shot By Kismet, he has been a lead photographer!
